  • You are entering the correct password for Postgresql? - Caused by: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: FATAL: password authentication failed for user "root"

  • Yes, user and password created as "root" in postgree

  • The URL is correct? [jdbc:postgresql://localhost:5432/fabricaweb2db]

  • I just tested this URL: 'jdbc:postgresql://localhost/fabricaweb2db"/> ' but still the same error

  • And if you change the version of hibernate-core, of hibernate-entitymanager and of hibernate-jpamodelgen in the pom.xml to the 5.0.2.Final (the most recent), the hibernate-validator to the 5.2.2.Final, the hibernate-commons-annotations to the 3.3.0.ga, change the postgresql:postgresql for org.postgresql:postgresql version 9.4-1204-jdbc42 and SLF4J for the version 1.7.12? I notice this especially in Hibernate where the versions of hibernate-core, of hibernate-entitymanager and of hibernate-jpamodelgen should be married, but they’re not in your pom.xml.

  • I did your above, this error appeared in pom.xml : 'Missing Artifact postgresql:postgresql:jar:9.4-1204-jdbc42 '

  • Fix the error above, I will try to run aq

  • IS org. postgresql:postgresql:jar:9.4-1204-jdbc42. They decided to rename their group recently by adding the prefix "org.".

  • Error appeared: Unable to build Entity manager Factory

Fala José!

Dude, the exception that is returning by your BD is clear, failure to authenticate the root user, try to connect through another client or MKYONG code (http://www.mkyong.com/jdbc/how-do-connect-to-postgresql-with-jdbc-driver-java/), Very simple, just to validate whether it’s your app or the bank!

  1. Check that the root user has access permission
  2. Make sure root is unlocked (May have been blocked) (If it is locked, and after unlocking it re-locks when running the application, it may have been activated some protection, then just reduce the pool and use a pooled datasource).
  3. Last case, reinstall the comic.
  • That’s right, he decided... vlw
