I’m looking to move up my first project with the Laravel 4 framework and I’m in trouble. I uploaded all the files from the FTP project because there is no other option for hired service. I uploaded the files and created a file .htaccess that is in the image along with error message.

I managed to find the Solution for this problem was actually php version offered for hosting that was 5.2 and Laravel requires a 5.3+ version so I will be indicated this link: http://faq.hostgator.com.br/content/54/290/pt-br/habilitando-o-php-53-em-seu-site.html. With that I was able to solve my problem

Looks like the file autoload.php was not uploaded to ftp. That file should be inside the folder bootstrap which should be at the same level as the folder public
Error says file index php. loaded, but then failed to load autoload.php, so it looks like php is working and the file index php. is being accessed correctly.

Dude, he’s not finding the files. His last rule is public, wouldn’t it be public_html? Check the paths..
