How to import/export categories in Magento?

I am trying to import products and categories from one store to another, but in Malta there is only the option to export only products and customers.

Is there any way to do that?

The best way I’ve found to do this is by using this script

only perform the registration that the site gives you a php that exports its products in a csv spreadsheet

categories come in json, you can extract and format them for format

categoria pai/categoria filho

and import using magmi with plugin on the fly categorie Importer.

is laborious, and not very practical yet, but works.

if anyone has a better solution please share!
