System: Windows 8 and Microsoft Office 2013
I am having problems with an alert screen on Activex control that has been bothering me for some time:
Before opening the Form where the Windows Media Player control is located, a warning screen appears with the following text:
"This application is about to boot Activex controls that may not be safe. If you trust the source of this file, select OK and the controls will be initialized using the current workspace settings."
This message only appears once, before the opening of Userform Projects without Windows Media Player control the aforementioned warning screen does not appear.
In more than one opportunity, I conducted exhaustive research on the subject on the Internet but, I found nothing to solve the problem. I confess I’ve tried everything to make it go away, but I’ve exhausted the possibilities
I have changed the Macros Security in several ways without success I already changed some records in < regedit - HKEY_CURRENT_USER and also in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, following guidelines found on websites, also unsuccessful In fact, searching the internet, you can find something on the subject, but based on older versions of windows/office
I count on the attention of the community for the solution of the problem
This answer talks about Activex in the browser, but brings useful information. Maybe there is no way to control it.
