Recently, looking at a question here from Stackoverflow, I noticed a user comment that said console log. and the Alert were not correct ways to debug Javascript codes.
This question left me thinking, because I always use the Alert and the console log. to debug Javascript codes and view them in the browser. (I also use echo, var_dump and print_r for PHP).
I wonder if these options, used by me (in JS), are really wrong, if there are others more suitable or if they can be used normally. (I refer to using debug in the browser and that it is applied within the JS code, as in the case of the console.log).
I use Crome, for me it serves very well! F12 -> Aba Network -> Control + P and search by file!

Has Debugger in all browsers

I use vscode to encode and own browser to debug JS to debug PHP using the Xdebug plugin in the browser with PHP Debug in vscode.
