Change in image density (IPR)

I am working with a project that I do image capture and I need to transmit this image with 200dpi, I would like to know how to change the image density to 200 dpi ?

Hmm... classic question... I will try to explain why this is not "directly" possible. DPI stands for DOT PER INCH. This and the density not of the image, but of the "Macine" that will allow to visualize the image. For example, you have a 3000x3000 image. In a impessor with 600 DPI-> 3000/600 = 5 inchs. One inch : 2.54cm so the image will make, on paper 5x2.54 = 12.7 cm. The screen of your computer has a "DPI" of 72 until 108 DPI. In the case of 96 DPI (basic a 23" full hd), we will have an image of: 3000/96 = 31 inch then 31x2,54 = 78cm.

This means that you can’t really change the image’s DPI because the image has no DPI. It has pixels, nothing but.

But really, leave the image in this form, send and wait. In 99.99% of the cases, the person who "needs XX DPI" knows none of this.
