Update easyphp PHP only

People, Here in my work PHP is installed via easyphp. I need to run some functions that only exist in PHP 5.3 or higher.

And the version that is currently is 5.2.10

Is there any way I can update easyphp or only php? I’m afraid of updating everything and losing the banks.

Easyphp is a WAMP, which aims to facilitate the installation of PHP-based services (database, server, php language, etc.). You can download a current version of Easyphp and update only the PHP version, or update it manually without touching the database.

However, as with every update, it is recommended to back up the most important files and database in case of any failure. If the company does not have a database backup routine, the version update will be just one more component that can generate loss of sensitive data.
