Problem creating project in Firebase

When I add the dependencies that firebase asks to create the file and I give Sync Project, it shows me the error "Failed to resolve: com.android.support:appcompat-v7:28.1.0"Build.Graddle:project

  • Correct versions: https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/com.android.support/appcompat-v7?repo=google

  • I don’t understand what’s going on. I create the project, all default, but when I add the line "implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-core:16.0.3'"

  • it presents me with this version error. What should I change to compile??
