Hello. I am searching to see how some applications work that allow its use without consuming data from the internet franchise. iFood, for example, has this feature, among others like Magazine Luiza, etc.
Can anyone give more information on how this is done? The company where I work is willing to offer this in their apps to their employees.
Thank you.
I have a feeling this is outside the scope. What I can say is that if the country were serious none of this would happen because there’s a law that says it can’t be done.

@Maniero could explain your statement better? I found curious doubt and also your statement, I would like to understand more.

If I’m not mistaken this must have some partnership with cellular operators.

I believe that somehow or other data consumption is paid for, but I’d like to know how, you know? If it is the case of hiring some service that would not be the problem, since the company would bankroll this hiring. It would be more the case to understand the process.

I think I got a light. And I don’t think it’s illegal, because it’s a partnership. See the fragment extracted from the material at: https://www.tecmundo.com.br/apps/113432-comemorare-ifood-nao-consumi-dados-franquia.htm "The company responsible for iFood states that the novelty was implemented after "research in all the regions where the company operates". For this, it was necessary to perform a partnership with the operators already mentioned. It is worth saying that there is still great participation of Datami technology ..."
