App publishing suspension on Google Play

My application was suspended after an attempt to publish in an open test alpha environment.

Question: is there any way to submit the application and the application is evaluated without generating impact to the developer account?

I’m really amateur in this area and have a few days of experience with Google Play. I did a lot of research before submitting to precisely avoid this kind of problem.

  • Alpha and open test? The common name given to open test is beta, usually keeping alpha reserved for closed test. Of course, this nomenclature is a weak convention, no one is required to follow, but these are the most common market standards

  • Which is kind of confusing on the Google Play dashboard. In my understanding the Alpha would not be subject to any kind of sanction in case of injury of the guidelines and there is the possibility of leaving it as an open test. My idea is just not to cause another strike on my account for lack of experience.

Yes Allysson, you can publish on Alpha and leave it open only to your list of testers. On the version control page itself you can do this. The control of testers is done through the email registered in Google play. After registering someone on the tester list send the tester link to the person to access and accept being a tester.

Edit: The exact place to do this on the console is in "Manage Versions" > Manage Alpha, select "Closed Alpha Test" and register your testers. The activation link will appear that the tester must access to accept being a tester.

  • Renan, thanks for the reply. I will try again, but this time submitting the application in closed test to prevent another strike.
