Bootstrap - Always show side-bar

Good afternoon, my friends. I just downloaded a bootstrap template from Dashboard through this link, item 6.

I expected the side menu to look like this, always visible on the left:

Eu esperava que o menu lateral ficasse assim, sempre visível à esquerda

But it came hidden, having to click the button to expand it on the right side.

Since I’m still learning how to deal with Bootstrap I don’t know what I should edit to leave it the way it is in the picture. If anyone can download the template and give me a hint, I’d really appreciate it.

I am available to edit the question and provide more details.

  • Hi @Jhonatanpereira. If you are learning Bootstrap you can start by understanding the grids system, dependencies, layout, styles, etc. and start with the most basic templates. I particularly don’t like using these semi ready templates from the internet because it comes with many things I don’t need, more complex naming and structure than it could be, with more styles than would actually be needed...

  • Got it, the grid system is pretty easy to understand, and actually these templates come overloaded, but I’ll clear up a lot of stuff..

  • I only used it because I need to expedite kk

The theme had a settings menu where I chose where I wanted the side-bar and other elements, without messing with code.
