I used a Clans material that is on this link https://github.com/Clans/FloatingActionButton2 by the way very good.
But I’m having a hard time applying animation to this floating. I would like to play the same animation you do on the Google Map maps, when you touch the screen it hides. The floating is the search bar, but I’ve tried everything and read a lot of tutorial, but I couldn’t do it if anyone had any idea. I’m using the latest version of Android Studio and the Google API.
if Voce is using the most current version of android studio, just at the time to create your project Voce choose the option "Basic Activity" in the third "next" that you apply, there already has an Activity with actionbuttom easier to handle

I did so, but I wanted to use a floating menu, that’s why I used the one of clans, but I’m not getting the event when click on the screen it hide.
