Open another instance of Excel while VBA runs

I created an Excel application that extracts information from the internet, directly to it through the Selenium IDE Webdriver. However, while this application runs, I cannot open a new spreadsheet, or a new instance of this macro, there is the possibility to open another?

Yes, you can open another instance. Use Windows Run (Win + R key) and type Excel -x.
