I am very doubtful about a database that stores images and videos... I wonder if there is a database made to store only images, or I can store photos in a normal database?

There are those who risk saving the address of the image, but this method I believe is risky because there may be depending on the server directory block, permission, or even come to change the directory.
On the videos, it would not be recommended to save in BD due to the size of the video files that are always too large and would send the BD performance away.
