Searching a few on the forums, I decided to ask this question to see how developers perform a software license. For example, when you develop software, how do you control the use of it to prevent piracy as much as possible. Some developers use the HD serial number, others install the application on the server, among other options.
Complicated this question. No software is immune to piracy. Those days there was a similar question.

Dude, it depends a lot on what your system or software needs to work, an example is one I’m finishing here for company, it uses Webservice and RSA Encryption to validate the use, but if the user has no network, it closes or does not run (this is a problem)but there are many other forms pending too
