I am new to programming and I am studying javascript to become Front End Developer as a short term goal, in the future I intend to be a programmer, because I have an interest in machine Learning/artificial intelligence, today I read several texts and articles on the subject and in one of these researches I saw texts that indicated Haskell as a great language for this purpose, I know that it is possible to work with other languages, including javascript, but since now I have tried to trace the way more "rich" as possible in terms of information and possibilities I will continue to study, so I intend to decide now what is the next subject to study.

Being more objective:

After javascript it is best to focus on some imperative language or go to a functional one (Haskell)?

  • For this, learn R or Python
