I am asking this question because I find this DBMS simply fantastic, so I would like to use it with another database (not because I want to, but because most of the databases I have are in Mysql).

Is there any adapter, plugin, or any resource that through Management I can handle a database in Mysql, Oracle, etc.?

  • A suggestion => https://www.jetbrains.com/datagrip/

  • hahaha apparently the answer is no right, rsrs. So, I’m going to go see this product, because I can’t stand the use of phpmyadmin anymore, I need something decent, the tools of jetbrains are great, but this one should definitely be paid for. I’ll take a look.

    I manipulate some things from oracle in SQL SERVER through linkedserver. I believe it should be possible for MYSQL

  • rray Nãooo. Of that one I want distance!

  • Daniel Saraiva, do you open the tables of an oracle database in management studio normally? It was something like this I wanted.

  • As far as I know Microsoft so far does not allow this kind of access to different platforms, what ever come is plugin for data migration between Mysql and sql server or use within Visual Studio.

First the Sql Server Management Studio is not a SGBD and yes, according to Microsoft:

Integrated environment to access, configure, manage, manage and develop all components of SQL Server

As each SGBD has specific characteristics, it is not possible to use a manager for a specific SGBD in another.

I recommend the free version of EMS SQL Manager that has a manager for each SGBD, but maintains a common interface.

  • In fact, I was wrong, it’s more like an ide
