Close a php window and update the old one

Guys... I’m not using floating window and nor modal anything of the type, my TCC got a problem and in the short term to finish I could not use this method. What I need is a code that closes the window that was opened and updates the old one. I will post my code. I’ve tried several Javascript functions but they all close the window immediately after opening. It works that way, I have a register of tax notes and in this register I have a button to include creditors of notes, when clicking on it opens a window in the browser even a separate window, so in this window the user informs the Creditor’s name of the note and its CNPJ, After insertion I want the window to be closed and then updated the Tax Notes window where you have a combobox that lists all registered creditors. In the code of your page inc_credor.php, put the following:
