would like to know what is the standard of directory when I create a basic website? and which ones can I use?(where do js,css,html etc go) ex: ftp access, and which files and folders I will have to create?

Javascript (js) CSS (css) you need an . html file at the root of the domain folder, for example "index.html" But the default folders used are the ones I mentioned above, there are tbm to put images, for example (img or images), this will all depend on your code, where you will direct each file.
