  • Try removing @Transactional from the Controller and passing it to Areaservice, see if it changes anything. Are you using Spring Boot? Could be configuration problem

  • Did you set up Datasource as? It might be a configuration problem. It’s the first time in your project that you’re trying to persist something in the database?

  • @Dherik, I got the settings of a previous project that is working normal. Yes, this is the first time I will insert something in the database.

  • Try to check if you haven’t forgotten something related to the Datasource configuration (connection to the database), I suspect the problem is in it. If possible, share this code.

  • You can post the class of your project that contains the main() ? This is probably a configuration problem to support transactions.

  • @Statelessdev I don’t have a class that contains the main() method, I’m just testing the data recording in the database, would there be any other class that escapes from the ones I added above? I’ll put datasource too.

  • You must have a class annotated with @Springbootapplication. It is the entry point of a Spring application.
