How to make a normal image of the post in thumbnail - WORDPRESS

It is as follows: I’m developing a photographic collection site. Normally the image that would be shown in the post would be a thumbnail, but since there is a storage restriction on the server that I will host the site, I need to get the images from a drive. So far so good. I’m taking the images from One Drive and incorporating to the post as a normal media.

I’m using a search plug, which is working normally. However I wanted the results of this search to be shown the title and the image I’m picking up from the drive (instead of using the thumbnail), I mean, I want this image I’m embedding to become the thumbnail. So I can show her off on the quest like I’m Humb.

I researched something about it, but I couldn’t find anything. Can someone help me?

You can turn this embedded image in the post into "featured image" of the posts using the plugin auto post thumbnail.

According to the description:

Auto post thumbnail is a plugin to generate post thumbnail from first image in post or any custom post type. If the first image doesn’t work it will Automatically search for the next one and so on until the post thumbnail is inserted.
