We should internationalize the content of Meta Tags HTML as description and keywords?

  1. This internationalization undermines the indexing by google since it will only analyze the page in a single language?
  2. You can find the site if you search for a keyword that matches the default language keyword?
  • Interesting question, I thought to put a reward but I leave as a suggestion to AP ;)

  • I have no idea, waiting to see.

Actually it’s not an internationalization, it’s standard Google, the indexing occurs reading this way. and helps a lot in Google search indexing, the google automatically identifies your site language pattern, and no translation is required

of course the meta tags you put in the default language of the site, in English guy

<meta name="title" content="agencia de Publicidade em Cuiaba" />
<meta name="description" content="publicidade  cuiaba">

What you should do is put the metatags in the same language as the site.. Even because google does a check of the conciseness of Keywords.. In other words, check if there really is a related content.

If you have multi languages on your site. Fill in the meta tags with the corresponding language.

However I leave here an SEO guide made by GOOGLE, it is great help. http://static.googleusercontent.com/media/www.google.com/pt-PT//Intl/pt-BR/webmasters/Docs/guia-optimizacao-para-mecanismos-de pesquisa-en.pdf

In case you have any more questions just ask :)

Another thing don’t forget to put your site on GOOGLE WEB MASTERS

  1. It depends on your target audience. If the page is highly likely to be accessed in several languages, it is best not to specify the language of the page.

  2. Probably, because the search engine will search for the word itself regardless of its meaning, if no standard language is specified on the page.

If the site is written in two languages (e.g., EN and PT), I recommend creating a page for each language, so a visitor from abroad can be directed immediately to your language page through the search site
