I have an HTML page that I am doing some tests. Without IIS, it works normally, but when I call IIS, then the problems start:
1) The General Style rises (viewer.css), but when I style an element, like a button(style="display: none;), then does not work, IE, the button continues to be viewed, even with display: none, what doesn’t happen outside the IIS.
2) Functions javascript also does not go up, I have a function that loads a PDF document and nothing. I put several alert() exactly where it is loaded and no alert() rose.
IIS can kill both javascript and CSS? How do I fix this? It’s a pure HTML page, not Asp.net.

Most likely the
IIScannot find the files.jsand.css(most likely due to paths). When you do not use theIIS, uses what?IISExpress? Try to explain better the differences between one environment and the other. If you open your console browser see any request for files that should be loaded?– Omni
@Omni, ok, I don’t use express. It’s just a simple html, that when I don’t use IIS I open the page from the folder where it is. I don’t use Visual Studio in this "little project".

Most likely the
IIScannot load paths then. Include your scripts like this<script src="~/myscripts.js"></script>. More some reading on paths in theIIS.– Omni
@Omni, the style goes up, does not go up the line style I put, ie on top of the button element(style="display: None"). This is not working. I put an Alert() at the beginning of the javascript that goes up first and yesterday it didn’t fire and today it’s already firing. I don’t know what happened, but it’s still not working, but this I’m analyzing. just wondering if it’s possible for IIS to inhibit javascript and css(online), that’s all.

Isn’t it an IIS cache problem? Simply give a
CTRL+F5in the browser after making changes to JS and CSS files.– alvarodms
@alvarodms, man, I’ve done all this. I took a link from PDF.js and I’m looking at it, because there are other problems besides these, already open in other posts. I’m not even buying that you’re just IIS. There’s got to be something in the js files that go with the library that can stop this, I don’t know, I’m just guessing, I don’t know anything anymore.

I solved the situation. The point is that it has two statements for the buttons, that is, one for case to open in local mode and another not (that I did not know). When I set the style, I set the local mode and left the other and so it didn’t work. Fix and now hide the buttons. It wasn’t in the IIS the problem was "BIOS".
