Several times I need to present to a client a project that I am working locally and it is bad to have to move the project up to a hosting or even update the project every time the client asks to see how the work is going.

Is there any way, real team, that can share my local work on the internet effortlessly?

  • Beware of these questions that are close to only you being able to answer correctly. It’s okay to give the answer, but the question needs to give other people a chance to respond well. When you will answer your own question make sure that it is well done so that everyone understands it and that it is not feasible just by reading your own answer together.

  • Thanks for the tip!

  • I understand your concern, but in this case I wanted to share my knowledge and found valid post here on the ngrok tool, which is very useful for many people.

  • The idea of website is not to divulge tools. You run the risk of having spam.

  • I understand, I’ll be more careful.

An excellent solution to this problem is the ngrok, this tool creates a tunnel between your local project and the internet by providing a URL for access. It is highly configurable and easy to use. You can still track how many accesses you have in your app, the transfer being made between the connection, etc...
