In this case, Voce already needs to have its project configured with the packages from Hibernate.
From there you can follow this small example:
Create a utility class:
import org.hibernate.SessionFactory;
import org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration;
public class HibernateUtil {
private static final SessionFactory sessionFactory = buildSessionFactory();
private static SessionFactory buildSessionFactory() {
try {
// Create the SessionFactory from hibernate.cfg.xml
return new Configuration().configure().buildSessionFactory();
}
catch (Throwable ex) {
// Make sure you log the exception, as it might be swallowed
System.err.println("Initial SessionFactory creation failed." + ex);
throw new ExceptionInInitializerError(ex);
}
}
public static SessionFactory getSessionFactory() {
return sessionFactory;
}
public static void shutdown() {
// Close caches and connection pools
getSessionFactory().close();
}
}
Now create one to test:
public class App
{
public static void main( String[] args )
{
Session session = HibernateUtil.getSessionFactory().openSession();
Query query = session.createQuery("from Stock where stockCode = :code");
query.setParameter("code", "7277");
List list = query.list();
}
}
