Currently I hear a lot about how some languages are highly scalable. But how would a scalable system be in Java? That is, a high performance system capable of withstanding millions of simultaneous accesses. Is it possible? Or it would be more feasible to use one of these new languages that has a great promise as in the case of NodeJS.
The question is as broad as it is based on opinions.
