Adware in my project

Good morning,

I have a project in Visual Studio 2013 using Entity Framework, so far so good, but suddenly when I was running it appeared Ads (Advertisements) in it, a few squares with multiple ads, but no images of the advertisements and others with images. This happens in two browsers (firefox and google Chrome), when normal browsing does not appear any ad. But if I start the project with a browser and play the link of my project in another browser the ads disappear.

Did I get any Adware? What should I do?

  • What kind of project are you using? Is it WEB? How are you running?

  • If possible, post photos and more details.

  • is a project for the web, with a local server for now, but I am doing everything on my pc.

  • Try accessing from another browser. Your browser is probably with some extension or something else.

  • I already tried, tried on firefox and Chrome and are the same thing.

  • What exactly does it look like? Many contaminate all browsers... I recommend using cleaning tools, Spybot, cclean, etc.

  • how do I put an image?

  • Post the code boy

  • What code do you need? Because I didn’t put anything else on it. It happened overnight.

Visual Studio doesn’t show advertisements or things like that on your projects, so it’s a problem on your PC. I suggest you run a Spybot and review the extensions installed in your Browser.

If you have been installing some program in the last few days, I add that some usually install "bars" in the navigators, these bars are a plague and usually do this kind of thing. I suggest you always read Wizard and know exactly what the program will install, because usually the installation of the "bar" is optional. Avoid also downloading programs on sites like Baixaki, superdownloads, etc...

  • It only appears in my project, both in google Chrome and firefox. When I am browsing normally nothing appears.

  • Please put a screenshot then.

  • how do I do that?

  • Edgar is not clear my problem? What do I do to be more precise?

  • Honestly it is not clear. Also your question is not about programming. I suggest you edit your question and post a photo of these adware (use help if you don’t know how to do it) and, if feasible, post the snippet of code that you think might be causing the problem. Now what I know is that Visual Studio doesn’t do this kind of thing.

  • Looking at your images I saw the problem. Frankly it is impossible for anyone here to give you a solution. Will and installed some third party addon in Visual Studio?

  • I did not install and did not put any more code to occur this, I asked a question on the support site vs, I am waiting. I do not know if they will help me and I do not know where to look for help, I am desperate. In the worst case I will format my computer.

  • Boy, if the project is in accordance with Wizard then VC better format your machine. I don’t think these ads are part of the project.

  • @jp_almeida if you can run the project on another machine or configure your machine so that you can access it with another computer browser or even with Powershell, do a GET of your URL and see in the returned HTML if it is some kind of advertisement.

  • I managed to get the ads out through a program that removes ads. It only appeared in the browser that I circled my project, another open one in which I pasted my link worked without the ads, normally. Thank you all for your help.
