JMF, Java Media Framework, is there a replacement?

A few years ago, around 10 years ago, I started a road data collection project, this project was being done in Java and used the JMF, a framework to deal with various types of media in particular video and audio streaming, I started to make adaptations to generate charts based on odometers, barometers, thermometers and GPS for example in addition to other streams, but I see today when reviewing the project that such a framework is abandoned and there seems to be nothing new to the new versions of Java.

Then the doubt is?

  • how is this framework for the most current versions of Java?

  • there is some substitute?

Reginaldo I’m sorry delay, well, I understood your reply, but I think some editions are necessary, I will be doing if you do not agree not feel embarrassed to reverse.
