wamp Localhost in firefox does not work

Good afternoon everyone, I have the mysql package and wamp installed on my computer and I chose firefox as the default to open on wamp’s localhost. I did all the procedure to make his icon green, changed apache ports, disconnected skype etc. After I managed to leave both mysql and wamp green even so when I try to open the localhost index.php file and phpmyadmin in firexfox, nothing appears, no message, simply the firefox screen turns white. Below is the PC Screem print to illustrate the problem. If anyone can help me to pop in the localhost and admin interfaces, I am grateful. Vlw.

  • Yes, I put an html in the www folder and tried but firefox continues with the white screen, maybe it’s firefox problem

    If you type http://127.0.0.1 it works ?

Leonardo, if you use Skype, it uses port 80, You can go on:

Tools > Options > Advanced > Connection > Deselect "Use as 80 and 443 doors as adcional input connections"

if you use the IIS server it also uses port 80 by Defalut, let me know the version of your Windows and the version of your Wamp Server, maybe I can help you better!

  • I changed the default port to 8080 from IIS and tested the firefox localhost and gave the following message: Unable to connect Firefox was unable to establish a connection to the localhost server. This site may be temporarily down or overloaded. Try again in a few moments. If you can’t load any pages, check the computer’s network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is authorized to access the web.
