Problems with Ireports

Lately I am creating some reports for my application using Jasper Reports (Ireports) only that I have been facing some problems.

Today I am using the plugin for Netbeans but from a moment to another it accuses an error and does not allow me to record the changes made, another time does not preview searched and found out that a certain version there was a bug, but would like if only I am going through these problems, or there is a solution or correction for this case.

I already tried to use the plugins of Version 5.6.0 and version 3.7.5 but with none I was successful.

Guy I’m also using this plugin, in my case the environment is Linux (Ubuntu 15.04), the plugin iReport 5.5.0 and the NetBeans 8.0.2, i consider this plugin very stable despite sporadically happening problems similar to those reported by you.

In my case sometimes when I will preview the same also does not work, in such cases there is always an error in the report that prevents its rendering, so the preview does not work, I can find the error more easily by running a unit test that generates the report.

For me the only error I bother is that sometimes when I change the report XML directly it locks the XML editing, then I have to close the report and open again.

No more consider a good plugin, use daily and solve my problems.
