Connect Mysql Workbench to Hostinger Server

Several times I tried to connect the Mysql Workbench to the database of my website hosted on Hostinger.com.br but always makes a mistake.

From what I understand the access data I am passing are valid, even because they are the same used to connect the application I am developing in PHP to the database and works.

But when I try to connect to the database through the Workbench gives error. I need this so I can model the bank through Worckbench when I need it and just give a Synchronize Model to update the tables and not keep exporting and exporting files. SQL.

    Get in touch with your server support. They probably only allow local access (within the application server) for security reasons.

  • I hired a paid plan and now I can connect. But when I run the SHOW DATABASES command gives this error: Error Code: 1227. Access denied; you need (at least one of) the SHOW DATABASES Privilege(s) for this Operation 0.109 sec

    @Lucianobraga this error is already another problem and it is outside the context of this question. You will not have admin access to the entire instance of their server, only to your Dbs, so some queries your user will not have access even.
