How to reduce the time of creating and writing a Linux image for use in Rapsberrypi?

I’m resuming a project in which I need Rapsberrypi, but in the last attempt to create an image is to record it in Sdflash, using the DD command, the process took hours to complete, I ended up leaving and I didn’t count the time but I will do again this weekend and I update this question.

It is important to note that I am using the Mac, as far as I know Shel’s commands, there is no difference, and this particular one has no bug that can lead to this delay.

Another important data, the image used was created with 32GB.

The card is a Kingston SD HC 32GB

What’s the mark on your card? The first time I tried to record the Raspberry Pi image (also on a Mac), I used a Kingston card on which I could only record at 300 KB/s. I bought a ADATA Class 10 card, and now I record at 10 MB/s, which is a much more reasonable speed - the image of the Raspberry Pi does not occupy the 16 GB, but it would take half an hour to record the entire card.

Here has a sampling of the card markings with their respective speeds.
