View routes in Codeigniter

I downloaded a real estate script that was made with the Codeigniter, the problem is I’m trying to see where the controllers and views of it, because I went in the folder application/controllers and application/views and has nothing, no file other than a index.html with content of 10 lines at most (silly thing). From what I saw he is pulling from the folder application/modules, because on this page there are other pages like Account, admin, install, etc. and inside them are the folders controllers, models and views. I would like to know how this is possible, redirect the folder where you will get the controllers. I will leave the files index.php and routes.php current.

index php.

 * Normally you will set your default controller in the routes.php file.

| URI ROUTING

| -------------------------------------------------------------------------

| This file lets you re-map URI requests to specific controller functions.

|

| Typically there is a one-to-one relationship between a URL string

| and its corresponding controller class/method. The segments in a

| URL normally follow this pattern:

|

| example.com/class/method/id/

|

| In some instances, however, you may want to remap this relationship

| so that a different class/function is called than the one

| corresponding to the URL.

|

| Please see the user guide for complete details:

|

| http://codeigniter.com/user_guide/general/routing.html

|

| -------------------------------------------------------------------------

| RESERVED ROUTES

| -------------------------------------------------------------------------

|

| There area two reserved routes:

|

|   $route['default_controller'] = 'welcome';

|

| This route indicates which controller class should be loaded if the

| URI contains no data. In the above example, the "welcome" class

| would be loaded.

|

|   $route['404_override'] = 'errors/page_missing';

|

| This route will tell the Router what URI segments to use if those provided

| in the URL cannot be matched to a valid route.

  • Alisson, the posted files don’t say much. I’ll take a look at the documentation to see if I can find something.

This type of structure is known as HMVC (Hierarchical Model-View-Controller).

It is necessary to use the Modular Extension to the Codeigniter. Tutorial here.

  • That’s right, HMVC. I was told on facebook the same thing and I read a tutorial for this with Codeigniter. Thank you!
