XAMPP has mysql active?

Well I was wondering if the XAMPP has the mysql active. Or if obsolete is equal to wamp

So Mysql is stable 5.6.12 (3 June 2013)

Xampp has a 5.6.24

And we have in test in Mysql 5.7.1 (23 April 2013)

  • So it is no longer possible to use mysql, only mysqli ?

  • Man, xampp has a stable version with "fixes", it can be used perfectly!
