I have a virtual machine in Google Compute Engine with Wordpress and I have a registered record in Registro.br.

I want to register my domain on Google Compute, but I’m not succeeding. Does anyone know what the procedure is?

  • Remember that Raffael’s response needs care. When creating static IP, remember to assign Virtual Machine. Otherwise, Google Cloud will charge you for using this IP that is not assigned to anything.

  1. In Google Cloud, sign in to the Console.
  2. In the side menu, click on the item "Networks".
  3. Enter "External IP Addresses", find the instance you want, and create a static address for it.
  4. Copy this static address (external).
  5. Click "Cloud DNS" on the side submenu.
  6. Create a zone and enter its details screen.

6.1 - In the NS record list, copy two of the addresses and enter them in the ".br record" as DNS Master and Slave, respectively.

6.2 - On the same screen (zone detail), click "Add Record Set" and add a record of type "A".

6.2.1 - In the Ipv4 field, enter the static (external) IP address of your desired instance created in the Compute Engine.

Optional: within your instance (Compute engine), configure your server/proxy to your domain/subdomain.
