Backup in Mysql Workbench

Question

I need to make a modification to the database. I wanted to know how to backup in Mysql Workbench, and how do I restore it later in case of errors.

Also if possible I would like some tips of good habits to accomplish this type of task, and some tips!

Go to the menu Server, Data Export.

In Object Selection, select the bank you want to do Bkp. Below, under Options, select the option you want to save: Export to Dump or Export to Self-Conteined File. Select the desired path and click Start Export.

For you to import, select Data Import on the menu.

Select the import type and the path where you saved the file .sql Select the BD where you want to restore and click Start Import
