How to convert the tags of a . ris file into table variables?

I have a file . ris with data from researchers and would like to convert the labels of this files into labels of columns excel variables.

Can you illustrate better what you are trying to do? Are you reading the data in R and trying to generate an Excel from it? What tags exactly you need to convert?

Have you seen the packages RefManageRand bibtex? Both were developed for files .bib, but apparently it is not very difficult to contact .ris for this format.
