I was wondering if it is possible to direct an object/result to a specific collection using the command db.collection.find(), which would equal the $out in the aggregation operation.

The
db.collection.find()is only for searching for information in a document. What you could do is declare a variable with the find value and then add it to the collection with the appropriate methods.– mutlei
