HTTP Error 500.24 - Internal Server Error

Hello, I’m trying to start learning ASP but I can’t get the IIS server to work, I tried searching and nothing worked, the message that appears is this:

HTTP Error 500.24 - Internal Server Error Detected an ASP.NET configuration not applicable in integrated managed pipeline mode.

If anyone knows anything I have to do please help me!!

Note: Using Windows 8.1

  • ASP what? ASP.NET? (I find it difficult to work with classic Asp) , post the server settings, so it helps to know what the problem, since 500 Internal Server Error is a "generic" error that refers to a problem on the server.

  • I’m new to the subject, so I apologize. I haven’t changed anything in the server settings, I’m using it the way it was installed, and I can’t see the default server page, if you have any suggestions I thank you.

  • I’m not criticizing in a way to scold, no need to apologize :) We just need the data of how it was set up, because otherwise all answers will be random kicks and so it will take you long to get the correct answer.
