How can I enable Federated in mysql on windows and how to use?

Edit your file /etc/my.cnf and adds the line:

federated

Then just restart the server.

  • Thanks I got it. Now when performing the command show Engines appears with support = yes, I also managed to create the table I needed with the Federated engine.
