I’m trying to publish a Windows Phone Silverlight 8.1 app, but I’m always having the same mistake:

Publisher in loaded package does not match publisher expected. The publisher expected for this application is: "CN=6A1002ED-D5A1-49CA-A442-XXXXXXXXXXXX"

In the Wmappmanifest.xml file I already include My name in Author and the APP code CN=6A1002ED-D5A1-49CA-A442-XXXXXXXXXXXX in the Publisher field, I always get the same message.

In the WMAppManifest.xml, on the flap Packaging, the name of Author and Publisher must be the same that you registered in the Store, that is, your developer name must be in the fields Author and Publisher.

The product and Publisher ID are changed when you upload to the Store.

Try syncing before sending to store. In Visual Studio you will click directly on the name of your application in your solution. After that it’s just Store >> Associate App with the Strore...

When logging in you will have the names of your apps separate. Choose what you want to use is synchronize.

Then just run for the hug.

  • You don’t have this option, because the App and Silverlight the only option you have in the Store link is: Launch Windows App Certification kit.

  • You put the same publication name at the time of registration, to see your publication name just go into account on the site dev WP, there will be the field "Publisher name". This name has to be the same if it won’t go wrong. If it’s not yet that. I don’t know what the problem is.
