I made an application using Intellij using database and everything is working fine, but as soon as I gave the push to Heroku I got a message:

Application Error. An error occurred in the application and your page could not be served. Please Try Again in a few Moments.

I used the command heroku logs at the terminal but I couldn’t identify the error, someone would say?

The message Driver not found log indicates that the postgre driver is missing from your classpath.

  • How can I fix this?

  • @Erick Add the driver to your application.

  • Okay, but I don’t know how to add the driver and stuff, I’m still learning and only know the basics. I appreciate if you can say a step by step.

  • @Erick has no way to do a step-by-step because I have no information about the structure of his project. If you use Maven, you can do something similar to what you have in this OS question, that is, declare the postgre driver as a dependency and then include the dependencies in the generated package.

  • And I’m no expert on Heroku configuration either.
