What this mistake means?

What actions can be taken to remedy it?

  • Since there’s no one to answer article

  • @It doesn’t open here for me. I asked the question because none of the articles I researched gives me an objective answer.

  • What do you mean, "Don’t open up for me."?

  • @ramaral The site does not open. Says the address is unavailable.

  • The link is correct. I click on article in my comment and opens.

  • I wonder if you could, if it’s not too much to ask, answer the question in Portuguese? If I wanted Google’s answer in English I wouldn’t have come here.

ORA-00980: The translation of the synonym is no longer valid

Cause: A synonym has not been translated into a legal target object. This may occur for one of the following reasons:

  1. The destination scheme doesn’t exist.

  2. The target object does not exist.

  3. Synonym specifies a database link (database link) incorrect.

  4. The synonym is not versioned but specifies a versioned target object.

Action: Change the definition of the synonym so that the synonym points to a legal object of destination.

Changing in kids, someone touched the target object (or even the SCHEMA, db link, etc) and forgot to recreate / delete the synonym.
