I’m running some data with names of chemicals, and some have the beta symbol, as well as alpha, however the new version of R (4.0.4) is not identifying the beta symbol and returns this message in place of the beta symbol ( u03b2).

For example:

Substance name - 1H-Cycloprop[e]azulen-7-ol, decahydro-1,1,7-trimethyl-4-methylene-, [1ar-(1aɑ,4aɑ,7β,7aβ,7bɑ (CORRECT)

1H-Cycloprop[e]azulen-7-ol, decahydro-1,1,7-trimethyl-4-methylene-, [1ar-(1aɑ,4aɑ,7 u03b2,7a u03b2,7bɑ (How the R is returning me)

In the previous version did not have this problem, however as I formatted my notebook, I ended up installing the latest version. Someone’s been through the same mistake?
