How to set up pfsense for the secondary Windows 2012 R2 server to take over when the main Windows 2012 R2 server crashes

The situation is as follows: There are two Windows 2012 R2 servers in the replicating domain, and pfsense with the active DHCP distribution service in the LAN interface and the ips of the setted servers in the pfsense "Servers/DNS Servers" option. It happens that when the main server falls, the domain users cannot access the files or log into the host machines, because the secondary server does not automatically assume. The host machines have already been tested with dynamic and static ips, but none of the situations solved. Would anyone know if something needs to be done on pfsense or on the servers to solve the problem?
