Error 04018 when trying to build an SQL database project

I created my database project on Visual Studio 2013 pointing to an existing base, I put a new build for TFS execution and the following error occurs:

Error 04018: The “SqlBuildTask” task failed unexpectedly

I made no change in build template, but I tested with another database project and the error did not happen.

Is a bug product! To solve it just do the update, if you are with the update re-install.

  1. The download is on this page(Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools).

  2. If his build machine no internet access, use the command:

    SSDTUpdate.exe /layout SSDTUpdate

It will download to the folder SSDTUpdate of the files needed for a disconnected installation.
