Good personal evening, I am developing a select in order to simulate a demand forecast in my company, I am using the Monte Carlo method, which uses a function to generate random values within the distributive function. Does anyone know the function or how to apply the inverse of the distribution in a select in the Oracle database? I use the Sqltools tool. Here’s an article I’m using as support, page 11 this formula when applied in Excel. Thanks for your attention
pdf has not been downloaded on my tablet but Oracle has a wide range of statistical functions , https://www.oracle.com/database/technologies/bi-datawarehousing.html ... https://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14223/analysis.htm#i1007362
