Good personal evening, I am developing a select in order to simulate a demand forecast in my company, I am using the Monte Carlo method, which uses a function to generate random values within the distributive function. Does anyone know the function or how to apply the inverse of the distribution in a select in the Oracle database? I use the Sqltools tool. Here’s an article I’m using as support, page 11 this formula when applied in Excel. Thanks for your attention

  • pdf has not been downloaded on my tablet but Oracle has a wide range of statistical functions , https://www.oracle.com/database/technologies/bi-datawarehousing.html ... https://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14223/analysis.htm#i1007362

  • Improves the question, data model, problem definition and "page 11". A simpler model such as linear regression or movable means does not solve ?
