Using the ACL in Cakephp

After doing a lot of research, I didn’t find a satisfactory answer. I’d like your feedback and/or advice on using the ACL in Cakephp.

I’ve seen some plugins that "help" in this issue, but I haven’t found any dynamic enough.

Some say that "at hand" is better, others say that using plugin is better, anyway, the ACL is not complex, but for a system with tens of groups and thousands of users it is complicated to organize things. So I’m looking for a plugin that really makes this task more practical and dynamic, or if necessary I will make one for it, but before I put my hand in the dough, I would like your opinion.

  • Most of the Cakephp ACL tutorials I see are actually handmade.

So dude, really the most automatic tools for using/managing the Acl are missing. I work with Acl on my projects, and the only tools I use for are the Cake Acl Shell (framework native) and the plugin Aclextras that has not received any update since 2013.

I’m not fully aware of the 3.x Acl yet, but from what I saw there weren’t many changes.
