What is the difference between the versions shown Flutter doctor and Vscode?

The flutter doctor command shows: [ ] Flutter (Channel stable, v1.17.0, on Microsoft Windows

Already in vscode it shows: Flutter: 1.12.13+Hotfix.9

What is the difference between these versions?

As I updated from the vscode terminal it does not update the version description automatically. I had to restart vscode.
